Can I just show up and play at Sacramento’s public courts?

Yes. All city and district park courts are free and first-come, first-served. There’s no reservation system for public courts. Rusch Park has a good rotation during busy hours, and Gibbons uses a paddle rack system to keep things fair when courts are full.
