Seattle Pickleball Courts – Quick Guide

Seattle has one of the most active pickleball communities in the Pacific Northwest, with 90+ public courts across city parks plus a fast-growing lineup of dedicated indoor facilities. Here’s where to play.

Seattle’s unofficial pickleball headquarters. Green Lake Pickleball runs open play sessions from late March to early October — weekday evenings from ~5:30 PM to dark and weekend mornings from 10 AM to noon.

Rainier Beach Playfield

One of the city’s largest outdoor pickleball setups, with lights for evening play. Located in South Seattle. First-come, first-served — no advance reservation required.

Shoreview Park

  • Surface: Hard court (concrete)
  • Hours: 8 AM – 10 PM daily

Near Shoreline Community College, just north of the city limits. Courts can be reserved through the City of Shoreline. Semi-permanent nets in place at multiple courts.

Side Out Tsunami Pickleball Center

  • Hours: Mon–Sun, 6 AM – 11 PM
  • Membership: Monthly plans available; core memberships currently waitlisted
  • Drop-in: Open play available by skill level (novice to 4.0+ DUPR gated)
  • Extras: Pro coaching, leagues, clinics, café, self-recording replay cameras

Washington’s largest dedicated indoor pickleball facility at nearly 100,000 sq ft. Official home of the Seattle Tsunami (NPL).

Picklewood Paddle Club

Opened November 2025. No membership needed — reserve a court or drop in. Good mix of indoor and outdoor options in one venue.

Can you just show up and play at Seattle’s public courts?

Yes. All city-owned outdoor courts are free and first-come, first-served. Green Lake East has a paddle stacking system during organized open play sessions.
