Highlands Ranch Pickleball Courts – Quick Guide

Highlands Ranch has one of the most developed pickleball scenes along the Denver Front Range, with 30+ courts spread across public parks and dedicated indoor clubs. The 2026 opening of Southpark Pickleball Complex — the area’s largest facility — has made this one of Colorado’s top destinations to play.

Here’s where to find the major courts in Highlands Ranch.

Opened January 2026 as a partnership between the Highlands Ranch Metro District and South Suburban Parks & Recreation. This is the area’s primary hub — 19 total courts on site, with the west courts (#1–10) managed by South Suburban. Reservations available up to two weeks in advance.

Tanks Park

Four courts are built atop semi-subterranean water storage tanks, inside the fenced roller hockey area. Courts have permanent lines; nets are available via the on-site equipment locker during business hours. Drop-in play runs Monday–Friday 8–11 AM on courts #1–3.

Palomino Park

Epic Pickleball Club – Highlands Ranch

Opened February 2024. Climate-controlled facility with professional-grade cushioned acrylic courts. Drop-in sessions run weekdays at 7–9 AM, 11 AM–1 PM, and 1–3 PM; weekends at 7–9 AM.

3rd Shot Pickleball – River Point

Can I just show up and play at Southpark without a reservation?

Yes. Courts #18 and #19 are permanently set aside for free drop-in play and are always first-come, first-served. Courts #11–17 are also free when unreserved. On busy weekends, showing up early (before 8 AM) is your best bet for immediate court access.
