Every March, the PPA Tour rolls into Texas for one of its biggest early-season stops. The 2026 edition moved north from Lakeway to The Courts of McKinney, rebranded as the Veolia Texas Open, and delivered a week of marquee matchups from March 9 through 15. Anna Leigh Waters swept three golds, Federico Staksrud took men’s singles, and the Dallas metro got its first taste of top-tier pro pickleball.

FAQs
Why did the tournament move to McKinney?
The PPA relocated its Texas stop from Lakeway’s Elevation Athletic Club to The Courts of McKinney in 2026 to access a larger venue footprint and the Dallas-Fort Worth fan base.
Is this the same event as the Austin Open?
Yes. The Veolia Texas Open is the direct successor to the Veolia Austin Open and the earlier ONIX Austin Showdown. Same PPA tour slot, new city, new branding.
Can fans meet the pros at the venue?
Yes. Most pros sign autographs and take photos between matches around warmup areas and sponsor activations. VIP packages included structured meet-and-greets with headline players.
Do I need a ticket to watch every court?
General Admission covers all outer courts. Only the Championship Court requires a reserved ticket, and Sunday finals tend to sell out fastest every year.
